As a founding member of Green Deal Dataspace e.V., he promotes EU-wide data exchange for sustainability and biodiversity. He advises the Mata Atlântica Agroforestry Project and lectures on the topic of "Approaching Sustainability." Lars holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Sustainability Science from Lund University in Sweden.
